Pyrotechnic displays are used around the world at many high profile ceremonies to produce spectacular shows. These creations involve the controlled burning of a flammable substance over a number of minutes.
One increasingly popular display has been the creation of large-scale images/characters in flame. By using a specially developed Pyroglass glass rope seal wound around a metal frame/outline of the character and soaked in accelerant these ropes once ignited create some stunning imagery for the audience.
These fire rope seals have been developed to have special wicking characteristics and to hold the fuel long enough for it to burn and maintain an effective fire display.
