STAINLESS STEEL WIRE REINFORCED SEALS

Wire reinforced seals keep their dimensions under the most arduous conditions. Due to the steel wire reinforcement, these seals are capable of withstanding pressures from heavy doors and lids.

The presence of the stainless steel ensures the seal will spring back to its original profile even after many years in service.

CLIP SEALS

Glass filled or wire reinforced seals can be built to fit individual door designs. Purpose designed clips can be incorporated. The clip method of fixing is quick, clean, and makes replacement very straightforward.

This design of clip fastening is often employed in Pyrolytic ovens and has been adopted on other specialist cookers and fires.

PYROTAPE - GLASS TAPES (WEBBINGS) & LADDER TAPES

A full range of widths and thicknesses.

White, grey/black, with or without self adhesive backings. Plain tape or Ladder section.

Flange sealing on hot air and gas ducting, boiler access and inspection doors, heat exchangers, primary and secondary insulation of pipework, and heating appliance glass window seals.

PYROLAG- GLASS ROPE LAGGING & SUPERWOOL LAGGING

550°C Pyrolag offers an ideal and cost effective method of insulating hot pipework and has also been adopted for flue sealing / caulking, and special exhaust systems.

1100°C Superwool - Body soluble high temperature mineral wool rope lagging. Numerous applications including expansion joint packing in boilers, furnaces, kilns, and hot running cooking & heating appliances.

‘P’ SECTION (Tadpole) GLASS SEALS – Custom built

‘P’ Section seals also known as Tadpole or keyhole seals are custom made to suit individual customers.

The bead diameter and compression along with the tail length can be altered to suit specific applications.

Typical applications include industrial boilers, bakery / catering oven doors, drying ovens, gas fires, furnaces / kilns.

PYROSLEEVE – Plain Glass and Silicone Coated Sleeving

Pyrosleeve thick wall glass fibre sleeving is available as a plain knitted white glass sleeve or with a red oxide silicone coating.

Very flexible sleeves ideally suited for covering and protecting pipework, hoses, wires, and cables. These sleeves will give effective control over heat loss, and will provide personnel protection around the heat source.

KITS & ADHESIVES

We are able to supply ‘kits’ (rope packs) for the after sales / repair market.

The kit includes high temperature rope or tape cut to length, along with a suitable high temperature adhesive neatly packaged and labelled with your header card. Thermic 1100°C water based ceramic adhesive is also available as a separate item in tubes, cartridges or tubs. Colours are beige or anthracite.
